Did you ever watch that TV show Home Improvements with comedian Tim Allen? The premise was that he and his sidekick Al, forever in the plaid flannel shirt, had a live local television show that had to do with building things. He was always getting into trouble by hot wiring some power tool or doing a project incorrectly and ended up destroying something or burning up a tool on the show. If that weren't enough, he also had a knack for screwing up the plumbing, electrical or refrigerator at home. Now that was a funny show.
It's not so funny in real life. Years ago I was on a crew that built houses in New England. We would even build straight through the brutal cold winters wearing a snowmobile suit to work.
